This crew and this food was amazing! We took the advice of our bus tour leader, Sam and booked on here instead of the one at our hotel. The food was EXCELLENT and the crew was was GREAT! Small and personable. We didn’t feel like a number being rushed in and out. It was a very enjoyable evening for our last night in Hawaii!

Also, we don't have any individual people working with us to funnel business our way so it is great to know that a totally unaffiliated source would send you our way! We love organic references! The Dinner cruise left in the rain. It was clear there would be no sunset and we had to sit inside for the majority of the ride. It would have been better to cancel than to take us out on this dreary evening. The dreary slow Hawaiian music made it even worse. If it were going out in the rain, the least they could have done was bump up the entertainment value. The food was really good (I had beef) but it took FOREVER to get the food out and we were asked about 4 times each which entree we were getting. Due to Covid there was no alcohol served but we knew ahead of time and brought our own. The bartenders were nice enough to hold on to it and keep it cooled for us. Maybe it would have been a different experience had their actually been even decent weather. In my opinion they should have canceled and given our money back.

Thank you very much for the honest review and we are truly sorry that the weather didn’t cooperate. One of the certainties in Hawaii is that the weather can change in a moment. Also, much of the time, rain is light and passes through in an isolated pocket. Combine the weather variability with the fact that most passengers don't have an opportunity to get out with us again (although we would gladly re-book), compels us to make every reasonable effort to get the trip in, and make as many people happy as possible. For every person that would prefer a cancellation, there are several people who are grateful that we got them out on the ocean. There is no right answer, but our main goal at Prince Kuhio Tours is to provide the best possible experience that we can. Also, our booking documents clearly outline weather and sea state challenges that passengers need to be aware of.
