This special time turns into an unforgettable experience when you witness it from horseback, traveling through quiet forests and beautiful mountain trails. That’s not to mention that at sunset everything cools down and all the birds start to sing. Trust us, it’s the best time of day to ride.

On the trail, you might see grazing cattle, native fruit trees, and even wild pigs. You’ll also have sneak peeks of the ocean below, leading up to the best part—a thrilling panoramic view from our scenic lookout. You’ll remember it for years to come.

Beautiful, relaxed ride with ocean views. Suitable for beginners. Be prepared for wide, western saddles. Word of caution: Wear pants! We saw so many people riding in shorts, and I can only imagine the pain they were in the next day. Guides were friendly, and talked about how the ranch is utilized. Horses are typical trail horses who are well cared for. Small petting zoo on premises.

Excellent experience was totally worth it, beautiful scenery and really great horses! The guide was great but hard to hear them when in the back.

My husband and I took a trip to Gunstock Ranch for our honeymoon! I have been riding horses my whole life and my husband is just learning - so horseback riding is a must on all vacations. Our experience at Gunstock Ranch was amazing!! The entire team was so wonderful and helpful, our guide Kaleb was so nice, knowledgeable, and fun to talk to! Our horses were Winston and Lio and they were such good boys! All the horses were very well taken care of and looked so happy. The views on this ride were amazing and we got to see the cattle and wild pigs! Next time we go back to Oahu, we will be visiting Gunstock Ranch!
