We enjoyed our sunset ride. It was very low key and relaxing. The ranch was doing a couple of promotions for July, so check the promotions section on their booking site. This was my son's (7- most of the other companies require older kids) first time on a horse, and he can't stop talking about it. The ranch is on the windward side, so you don't really see the sunset, but it's just a great time of day to go out.
Our guide was Drew and he along with the other staff we met were very friendly. I felt bad b/c we don't do this sort of thing very often and I forgot about tips! Drew was kind enough to take some photos of us. He told us about the ranch, our horses, and some plant life, which was memorable and interesting.
They also have a petting zoo with goats and sheep, which you can pay to feed. There were some baby lambs, and Drew caught one for us to pet after our ride. I guess we could have gone in, but my son was a little apprehensive. We also saw a playground with swings and a jungle gym, but we didn't use it b/c we didn't have long to wait as it was just us going.
Overall, it was a nice, laid back experience, which my family enjoyed a lot.
