Our guide, Larry, was excellent and very informative and helpful in getting the best camera shots. His flute playing at Big Hogan was hauntingly beautiful.

It was a beautiful tour and Frank, our guide, even played the flute for us in an archway of stone. He told stories and answered questions. The scenery was magnificent, especially when the Golden Hour hit and the top of the buttes turned bright orange. I took so many pictures that my fully charged phone battery ran out. It was bitterly cold and very windy in the shade, so dress warmly in May. You will get out of the truck about 8-10 times. Metal steps like a ladder are involved in getting in and out of the truck. The meeting place was not where the Viator agent said it would be. She and the website said it would be in the lobby of The View Hotel, but it was outside and down some stairs from the lobby entrance on the far right side as you approach the hotel. Be prepared for a very rough ride, and wear your seatbelt. Getting through the deep sand was slow but the truck handled it. The guide did a very good job of driving. It would have been more comfortable in an enclosed truck. I think that's available with this company and/or others. Please be respectful of the Diné culture and ask before taking photos of Diné, jewelry, or other wares that they sell.

This was a great tour. I am retired and on the first trip to this area. Jameson was super. Shared on the attractions. Shared on the history of the Navajos. Also shared on the local places that was used on filming movies. The people we shared this with were very friendly and a lot of fun to be with The end of the tour was getting too cold to ride in the open, the guide called in a van to return the 4 of us to the RV park. TOP NOTCH!!!!!!!!!
