There wasn’t a sunset to view because it was cloudy but Andrea did the full loop and took us into the backcountry to see additional sites. I appreciated her knowledge and willingness to answer questions and share about Navajo culture/history. Highly recommend going during the offseason as it was quiet and more enjoyable. This tour is a great alternative to doing the valley drive yourself- the road has some very rough parts! That and you are far more likely to learn something during the drive.

Learning that there is so much more meaning to the rock formations than just a beautiful picture. The history, the language, the meaning of everything that we experienced was incredible! We had an absolutely incredible guide,Sandrea.

Sandrea provided us with a wealth of information, incredible insight and a greater understanding of Monument Valley and the significance this place holds in Tribal history, culture and traditions. She was extremely knowledgeable and answered all our questions. It is tour guides like Sandrea who make us see how limited our familiarity and education is regarding life here. The sacred land, the ceremonial importance and the connection to their ancestors was inspiring. We learned a lot during a most fantastic tour. Thank you Sandrea
