We did the Tampa History Cruise as a company event and it was amazing! We were very impressed with the tour guides. They were very knowledgeable, funny, entertaining and made this tour very special. I would recommend this tour to anyone wanting to know more about the city of Tampa.

I was not very impressed with Viator however. Booking this cruise was easy however, making the necessary changes was very challenging to say the least. If you book through them without having to make changes - it will work nicely. Otherwise - I cannot recommend going through them.

Enjoyed this wonderful personalized-to-your-interests-history tour. Highly friendly and very knowledgable Captain and first mate with applaudable professional safety standard briefing and enjoyable narration style. Beautiful morning spent on the waterways after punctual pickup from the Public Water Taxi Pier. Sights of Tampa working harbor, significant ships, stately homes and City high rises and notable architectural sites. Sighted a manatee and also enjoyed the occasional Egret and Pelican. A first-class experience. Bring your SPF lotion, a hat and perhaps a spare water bottle. Nicely facilitated boarding with stairs and stand-by crew will accommodate all with walking issues.
A canopy exists for some shaded seating. Captain will accommodate need for bathroom break by finding a public facility along the way.

amazing details and behind the scenes information knowledgeable on the Seminol history, Civil war, how the embargo on cuba affected the Tampa economy. What it had to do to change to make Tampa successful once again. just to much to tell. So all I can say is take this tour if your going to take any at all.
