We were 4 Aussies wanting to tour Philadelphia on the first day of our time here. The hop on hop off bus seemed a bit generic, so I found this tour. What a stroke of luck. We had a guide who talked passionately about the rich history of rock & roll in Philly for 3 hours. We saw from South Philly to North Philly, with pointed out houses, buildings, bars, theatres, murals. So many stories, with an audio visual screen to accompany them. We stopped to get out at the “walk of fame” a couple of times, and the Rocky steps were included as a stop (which we were planning to do).
Our guide was the type who was adaptable to any request with in reason. I’m sure if you had a particular request he would do his best to accomodate you.
Philly also has a real history with Disco, and I can imaging a group tour with this theme would be amazing. For a girls trip I would say dress in theme and you’ll be dancing in the aisles for 3 hours.
Thanks Clayton for a great afternoon.
