The Official Art Deco Gift Shop

Founded in 1976, The Miami Design Preservation League has proudly offered guided walking tours of The Art Deco District for over 40 years. All Proceeds go towards supporting preservation. Visitors are introduced to the history, architecture, and preservation efforts of Miami Beach. Tour ticket includes free admission to the Art Deco Museum and Gift Shop. There are a limited amount of tickets available for each tour, so early bookings are encouraged . Please arrive 15 minutes prior to tour departure for check-in.

Julie was our guide and we were a small group of couples and family. The tour was informative and fun and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone. Julie spent over 2 hours with our group and there were lots of interesting questions. Miami Beach deco area is beautiful and the organization is doing great work in preserving these buildings.

We were a large group and learned so much in a great two and a half hours- passion for historical information, knowledge of architecture and the times and lots of fun. What a great half day, despite the less the perfect weather.

Two hours of some of the best buildings in central South Beach. Tourguide Melissa was friendly, knowledgable, patient and fun. Tour included visits inside several of the buildings and a brief speech about Vercace outside his former house. She stayed after the tour to answer all our questions and make recommendations.
