There are several zip lines in the area, I am cheap so I was looking at the more extreme one for $5 more and an hour longer. I'm so glad I chose this original one, the other zip lines are in 2nd Forrest, basically fields, this one is UP in the canopy and it's beautiful! I didnt know what to expect, my GF wanted to go and I do technical rope rescue for a job, rappelling etc regularly and I thought it might be kind of lame. It WASNT! I LOVED it! You literally fly through the trees. I never felt unsafe and the two gentlemen who guided us were awesome, you are never ever unhooked, and trust me I was watching, they are very knowledgeable and caring, we had an older (probably 60's) lady with us who didnt speak the language and was visibly scared. They were very supportive and compassionate with her, letting her go at her own pace and comforting/encouraging her, I was impressed. Now the best part, we actually had a FAMILY of HOWLER monkeys come to within 4ft of us in a huge tree! I loved it, amazing is the only way to describe it. Also when the monkeys came, we stood in the tree for probably 15 min just watching them while everyone took pictures, they never rushed or pushed anybody through it was very chill and I appreciated that. I really wish I could remember the guys names because they deserve kudos! Thanks for a great time guys! Also there was a gentlemen in our group who dropped his phone out of a tree, afterward the guides took him back and found it in the jungle floor for him (and it was a heck of a drop) I would expect that but they were very accommodating. Again so glad we picked these guys to zip line with, you WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTING.
