We did the Original Canopy Tour in October and it we had a great time.
Transportation is included from town. We arrived and were quickly and efficiently given safety information and helped into our gear. We were there for the afternoon tour and on this day there were only two other tourists and two guides. There are lockers available to store your belongings while you are on the tour.
The tour begins with a walk up to the Tarzan Swing, it's a little bit of an uphill walk, but not overly strenuous. The Tarzan Swing is optional, but we took the plunge (literally). It's a platform that you swing off. Afterwards you are lowered to the ground.
The zip-lines are set up in sets of 3-5 cables, with a walking path on the ground in between. The shorter lines come first, then the longer lines. The longest was around 800m. This whole area is high up in the mountains, so on the longer zip-lines, you are flying through the clouds.
There was also an option to rapell down from the treetop and climb back up via the inside of a fig tree, followed by a rope ladder. We all opted to skip this, as the rope ladder was slippery that day from rain and wind. On a dry day, this would be fun.
The guides were friendly and helpful. They took my camera and got pictures and video of us coming and going from the various platforms. Our small group got through quickly and afterwards the transportation returned us to our hotel.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would do this tour again.
