We are somewhat novice hikers, so thought a guided hike might be the best bet. Thundering cascades and falls was pretty much what I expected, but it might have been the best part of our trip. Our guide, Mike, was great, easy going, and he showed us way more than we would have noticed on our own. It absolutely wouldn't have been as enjoyable without Mike and his enthusiasm for the National Park. This hike was not terribly difficult but the Chinmey Tops trail had some great scenery, and we really enjoyed it. We have already talked about using Awalkinthewoods the next time we are near the GSMNP.
