My friend and I visited on Saturday 8 June 2024. The first 3 buildings beside the entrance/gift shop were closed. I went back to check on that and was advised that the performance centre also was closed. They didn't tell us that 4 of 14 (c.30%) buildings closed and there was no price reduction. We only saw one interpreter in costume, the accordion player. We found the buildings and artefacts to be interesting but not overly exciting. There were no snacks available in the restaurants. I settled for what turned out to be a miserly portion of catfish and my friend had shrimp salad which was OK. But the staff and other guests were extremely loud. Overall a disappointing experience.
