If you are looking for a true, overall "Lacaster experience" this is the tour for you. We begin with a walking tour of Lancaster City, where our knowledgable guides provide an overview of the rich and multifaceted history of our beautiful city. Next, we depart in our tour van to visit and experience the real and remote areas of Lancaster County that only locals know. Our guides are deeply connected to many Amish people here in the county and will provide a wealth of knowledge and information along the way. We'll make two stops at Amish properties, giving you an insight into their world, and some ice cream to top it off. We look forward to introducing the unique and fascinating culture and history of Lancaster!

We started our walking tour punctually at 9:00 AM. Our guide, Mike was extremely thorough, thoughtful and knowledgeable. We never rushed through the trip and took time to explain all the details. We absolutely loved the experience and recommend Lokal tours for those interested in exploring the beautiful Amish countryside and learning more about the culture and history of Lancaster !

We had a wonderful, informative tour of downtown Lancaster and a most enjoyable tour of the countryside along with a couple of stops to learn more about the Amish culture.

Mark, our guide was extremely knowledgeable of the history of Lancaster. He was very good. We enjoyed the whole tour but the walk through the town was our favorite.
