Im going to break this down into good parts and bad parts:
Good parts:
-seen a turtle, 2 sharks, a seal, an octopus and some other underwater creatures
- instructor helped calm me down during a panic attack , let me use the boogie board to get to the location
-instructor took good photos of us
Bad parts:
-we were the only black couple in the group, instructor singled both of us out multiple times, taught us the bare minimum super speed run version of getting in the water, snorkel, etc, didnt help us put stuff on, or explain how to tighten etc the goggles , just singled me out and said not to touch the turtles, then singled my girl out because she was smiling through the instructions ( she was nervous duh)
- yeah i had a panic attack because i realized we werent going on a boat and we had to swim a quarter mile to the location , he told us that when we got to the beach, i lost my breath swimming and wanted to go back to where i could stand up and catch my breath he didnt allow me to do so, forced us to go with him, then TALKED PUBLICLY ABOUT MY PANIC ATTACK TO THE GROUP MULTIPLE TIMES UNTIL WE GOT BACK OFF THE VAN AND PEOPLE WERE LAUGHING AT ME , not cool! Invasion of my privacy he didnt have to do that, i know hes looking for a good review but i just wanted to catch my breath
-almost forgot to take our photo but took everyone elses
-hard to swim in a group ppl arent mindful of space and distance, a guy was swimming super close to the instructor and was kicking my girl in the face w his flippers
My girl and i loved the underwater creatures, would probably suggest a diff tour though
