Overall the tour was good. We had a very knowledgeable driver about the Pearl Harbor attack and about early settlements of Hawaii. If anything, it perhaps was a bi too long. We were certainly ready to get off the bus. The many stops were good. The buffet lunch at the Polynesian Plantation was excellent.
The one disappointment was we were under the impression we would be picked up at our Waikiki hotel. Thank heavens one of the hotel bellman checked to find out our pick up point was a block away at another hotel.
What a great tour, so many places seen in the one tour, highly recommend this to everyone. Our driver for the day was Rocky and he was fabulous, so full of information and knew about everything that you could possible need to know. Just wish we could have had more time at the Dole plantation.
This is a great trip to take if you want to get a good over view of the whole island. It is a long day but so worth it. I suggest scheduling it onthe first day you are there since you will still be tryin to adjust to the time change. This will also give you a chance to see things first and then determine if you want to go back and spend more time at any of the places you went. This was the 4th time I have done an Enoa tour and they are always great! Art was a wonderful tour guide. He was very insightful and funny. You get to see Pearl Harbor and the Arizona Memorial, Dole Plantation go and get in line right away so you have time to explore the place while you eat your Dole Whip and pineapple, Sunset Beach, Waikane, macadamia nut farm, Pali Lookout, Halona Blowhole and Hanauma Bay. We had a great buffet lunch at the Polynesian Cultural Center too. I would recommend this tour to everyone. You get to really see a lot of the island in the comfort of an air conditioned shuttle bus.
