There are NO kids allowed under the age of 8 years old.
You must arrive 30 minutes early. Experience a fully guided tour into the 8th wonder of the world, Upper Antelope Canyon. This tour will show the natural illuminating sunlight on the canyon walls, while it is changing colors throughout the seasons. Tour 1 allows sightseers to experience the canyon for around 80 minutes in their selected time slot. With the new updated guidelines, Upper Antelope Canyon is a single direction tour. Visitors will now exit with a 15-minute hike, up and over the beautiful canyon. There are 21 steps going up and 112 steps going down.

No children under 8 years old and due to the elevation changes, this tour is not handicapped accessible.

We did a couples trifecta tour of Rattlesnake, Owl and Upper Antelope Canyons with a tour guide named Nate. Each of the 3 canyons was beautiful and unique. As its namesake suggests, Rattlesnake was filled with twists and turns. Antelope was tall, majestic, filled with colors and interesting shapes. Owl Canyon was more open and straightforward; easy to navigate and with lots of light. And yes, we did see a Great Horned Owl! Our tour guide Nate was interesting and very attentive to our group. He told us quite a bit about Navajo beliefs and the history of the area. He was VERY good at photography and took MANY pictures of both our group as well as the interesting geologic formations within the Canyons. We let him take pretty much all of our group and/or most important photos. I can honestly say this was a unique and fantastic experience. I have never seen anything like a slot canyon before. The tour was well organized, on time, fair with how much time you are allowed in each location, and an overall wonderful experience. Bravo to Nate for being such a great guide!

Fantastic tour that was one of the highlights of our week long road trip though the national parks of Southern Utah/Northern Arizona. We had Irene as our guide and I can't say enough about her. In addition to telling us about the Navajo beliefs regarding the site and the geological background, she was an experienced photographer who explained to us exactly where to stand and what setting to use on our cameras to get the best pictures. She helped several people in our group get great shots and took pictures of each family at two different settings. She also gave special care to my elderly father who has mobility issues so that he was able to fully enjoy the tour. Finally, the ride to and from the site in the enclosed 4WD minivan was well worth the extra cost. It would not have been pleasant riding in the open air pickup trucks that many of the other our companies use.

This small company is awesome! Nate, our guide was wonderful. Not only did he provide excellent information, but he acted as our photographer! He knew what settings worked best, took pictures in great places of us, and provided a bit of history about the Navajos as well. There were several companies we looked at and we sure were glad we picked them. We went out to the canyon in a 4-wheel drive suburban. Compared to one of the other companies who crammed 12 people in the back of an open pickup with bench seats, we were in luxury. The sand and wind would have been miserable had we used that tour group. And the other groups from several other companies were much larger. We were a party of 4 with Nate which was great. They run so many people through the canyon on a quick basis, it looked like a cattle call for larger groups.
