We took our 3 young adult aged children on Dec 23, 2019. Despite the holiday, it was crowded and poorly managed. The groups were sent into exhibits without enough space between and we could hear the tour guide behind us more clearly than our own. Due to this set up, your assigned tour group is shuffled through exhibits and the prop house with no opportunity to really stop and look at anything.
The tour is unscripted so quality and “interest value” vary greatly depending on the personality and knowledge of your guide.
At the beginning of our tour, our guide polled our entire group to find out our favorite WB movies yet never mentioned any of the names favorites again or tried to work any of those details into the tour. If you are not into Aquaman, Harry Potter, Friends, Big Bang Theory or Pretty Little Liars, the tour sets and props will not appeal to you.
References to old movie history is very limited. The entire tour including the self guided portion took 2 hours.
The outdoor movie sets could’ve been much more interesting simply by showing the dressed version on the bus TV while driving by; the generic sets otherwise provided no interesting reference point.
This tour was far too expensive for what you get, do not recommend.
