We took this tour yesterday, on a March Saturday, and we knew going in from reading previous reviews and just looking at the details that this would be a very fast-paced type of trip, running from site to site, with just enough time to snap some Instagram pics, but in reality was even worse than that. Yes it was rushed and yes we knew that, but the driver and guide had all the wrong attitudes and made it much worse. At one point we stopped at a souvenir store to buy a couple of souvenirs, and the driver calls me, literally yelling at me on the phone, that if I'm not at the bus in exactly two minutes he would leave us. We rushed to pay for the souvenirs and ran to the bus location only to find it leaving. Called him on the phone and he said to take a taxi and meet them at the Museum. After us protesting he then made a turn and came back some minutes later, but this was entirely uncalled for. We were constantly shepherded around like sheep and just never had a moment to slow down and take the views in properly. The place we all stopped to eat was horrible, two of us felt mildly sick after. I had to eat on the line to the cashier fearing we'd be late again.
On the bus we were constantly told to be quiet and not eat anything, how can you not eat or drink on a 4 hour long trip, each way? And when you're going for a fun trip with family and friends you're not signing up to sit nice and quiet. Also bus was not well ventilated and not very comfortable.
Then, about 10 mins or so from final destination on return trip to NYC, I get up to collect our bags, as suggested by driver to start getting ready to disembark, and he makes a very hard stop, apparently because some car in front of him braked hard, and I end up falling own flat on the isle, hitting my back, hip and chin on they way. I still have bruises and pain, but I feel lucky I didn't break my neck. As I lay there on the floor with my head around the first row area where guide was sitting, both him and the driver look at me, ask if I'm ok, but don't even bother to give me a hand to get up. You are driving a bus full of passengers, what are you doing chasing cars down NYC roads, keep your distance and drive carefully, no?
Absolutely let down by the experience, suggest you shop around for better and higher rated options.
