We will learn about the beginning of Georgia and tour the original squares. Discuss the Colonial way of life churches, monuments and markers in this area as we journey into a timeline walk of the Historic District. Then our tour proceeds down Bull Street. The tour is one miles of walking and includes stops at Civil War homes, Cemetery, Theaters and famous movie locations.

Travelers to Savannah should first book a 90-minute walking tour with Savannah Belle. Michelle is very knowledgeable of the city's history and architecture, yet delivers information in a personable style. The walk is done at a moderate pace and covers major buildings, cemeteries and Savannah's iconic squares.

This was a wonderful 90 min walk through historic Savannah. Our guide was great and knew all the places that we wanted to go. It was a nice small group, only four of us. My daughter is a girl scout and was excited we went by the birthplace and The Andrew Lowe house. We live in Savannah and have done tours before, but never a walking tour. We would do it again.

My husband and I have been on many tours, but this was the first one where we walked away and looked at each other and said wow! There was only four of us on the tour and it was a nice slow pleasent walk. The topics ranged from Colonial history to Civil War. We discussed the iron work, bricks, monuments, economic, current life and local legends. We went by many of the highlighted areas and as tourist we felt at home. We laughed and learned and the time flew by. After the tour we sat and chat about the local economy and housing market. This tour guide knew Savannah and her love for the city was clear. I will never look at a boot scrapper the same!
