We specialize in whale watching in small groups, 6 to 15 passengers total on our tours, This allows for a more personalized experience and why most people chose our tours over other competitors. Our vessels are 32 and "38 feet long" and 6 to 16 passengers, Our competitors are 38 feet with over 30 passengers. want to feel like sardines in a can or like cattle being herded together then our competitors are the choice for you. We provide Pickup and drop off from just outside the cruise ship facility. As a bounus we pick you up in one of our limousine.

Our captain was very knowledgeable & entertaining. The scenery was stunning & It was exciting to see the whales. It was an unforgettable experience.

The excursion was amazing! Like many others, we did not book through the cruise line. The booking experience with Catch of the Day was easy. They even reached out to us several days before our excursion to make sure we had all the information we needed. The boat was very comfortable. There was seating inside with large windows and plenty of room outside to stand. One important thing to us was the small size of our group. There were 10 people……it was almost a private excursion. They said we would see whales……..we certainly did! Captain Dennis headed directly to where he knew we would see whales. At one time, the was a group of 10-12 whales right beside our boat. We saw Orcas and Humpback whale (as well as the beautiful outdoor wilderness of Alaska). This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Alaska thanks to the expertise and friendliness of Captain Dennis, his wife, and his crew.
