We had a group of 5, including 3 who had never kayaked before. Gertie was our guide and he did a great job introducing the basics of kayaking and giving a great tour of the swamp including wildlife and plants. The Whitney Plantation was amazing and an experience that will stay with us for a lifetime.

My mom and I had a great experience on the kayak swamp tour and plantation tour combo. Gertie (sp) was our guide and he was superb! He knew a lot about the plants and ecosystems and environmental impacts on the swamp. We saw many birds and even a nutria! We also really enjoyed the restaurant we stopped at for lunch. And the Whitney plantation was a must visit, a very well done tour!

We went out on 1/17 with Kelly. He did a great job getting to the location and through the kayak tour. Highly recommend. Whitney plantation is very moving. I highly recommend that as well.
