Unfortunately the scale of the venue makes for a long day but this is still a great day trip to explore, learn about and be impressed by glaciers. A number of glaciers are in relatively close proximity and care is given to point out the similarities and differences. The staff was helpful and the guide was extremely knowledgeable.The up close views were spectacular. The history of Whittier and the route in and out are also interesting.
