Capt. Steve emphasizes a quality, real feel for the mysterious Florida Everglades. He was the first to commercially guide Swamp Buggy Adventures Tours within the Big Cypress National Preserve. BCNP is a division of The Everglades Nation Park.

I booked an EIGHT HOUR private tour with Captain Steve last February and only received FOUR of the hours that I paid for. Our guide was apparently not informed that I'd paid for an 8 hour tour so he had prior commitments and could only do 4. I contacted Captain Steve IMMEDIATELY following our trip and he ASSURED me that we'd be able to book the remaining 4 hours with no problem As I was creating plans for a Thanksgiving trip to the Everglades, I contacted Captain Steve in early October and he asked me to call him the day before Thanksgiving. I called as he'd asked but never received a reply. The above said, I'm highly disappointed with Captain Steve and his broken promise. I'd give him half a star if that was a choice.

Please call for a refund after loosing my son then a hurricane it's ruff. Also I had no phone because it works off of Comcast and it was not working. Sorry I'll give you a refund.

Ashley was an incredible tour guide. We had a smaller group of 4 adults and one child (6yr old girl) and the tour was amazing. There were several alligator sightings and birding opportunities. Their knowledge of the swamp and the history of the area added to the overall experience. Ashley spent a large amount of time with the 6 yr old taking her walking through the swamp and showing her all the different plans, fish and we even found several fossils. Ashley's warmth and charm with children really made it a special trip that we cant wait to come back at a different season and experience a different tour.

We set off at 9am for an adventure in the Preseve with Captain Bill. We saw alligators, owls, birds and a hawk..Hawkins... many of the animals were hiding today. Captain Bill tried really hard to find us things to see. We saw many beautiful flowers and trees during our trip. Make sure to bring bug spray and boots (if you have them for walking off the path). It was fun being out and exploring while being covered from the sun. We had our own private tour since we had a group of 4.
