See Old Faithful unlike the average tourist. This tour uses the Biscuit Basin Trailhead to start the six-mile loop hike through the entire Upper Geyser Basin. This is the only hiking tour of its kind offered regularly in Yellowstone. We encounter the very busy Old Faithful area as the mid-point of our hike. Sections of this hike are on boardwalk. There are also sections on dirt trail where there are few other hikers.

Hike among half the world's geysers. Also see numerous colorful hot springs and vibrant pools. We encounter wildlife from time to time including bison and bear. Take a pit stop at the Historic Old Faithful Inn to visit the facilities.

3
Old Faithful Inn

We took this trip with Chris as our guide and it was FANTASTIC!!! He was super knowledgeable about the park, geysers, animals, plants and whole lot others. He was also so well prepared (food, water, sunscreen, bug spray, bear spray, etc.) and was very pleasant and accommodating. We learned so much, saw a lot and had amazing time! Thank you Chris!!! Your students are sure lucky to have you as their science teacher. I highly recommend this trip to anyone.

Great time with our guide Chris who spends his winters as a science teacher. Super knowledgeable on the plants, animals and of course the geysers! Great trip and really appreciated his knowledge and insight into the park.

This was a very comprehensive tour of the geyser basin area! Our tour guide Jake did a great job of not only giving us the facts about the the various features of the tour, but also some really interesting back history of the region and the park itself. We did this tour on our first day in the park, so Jake was able to recommend some other areas and attractions to see. Plus, we were lucky enough to see Old Faithful erupt not once, but twice from different vantage points.
