This is the one of the only private arctic circle tours offered in Fairbanks! On this customized tour, your guide will be completely focused on making sure you have the experience of a lifetime. Our guides have years of experience driving on the Dalton Highway. On this excursion you have the chance to see moose, wild caribou, wolves, the Alaska state bird (the ptarmigan) and other wildlife that live in the Interior of Alaska. As you drive along, your guide will share information about the plant life and other features you see, and share stories about the area.

Our guide, Paul was amazing. He was right on time picking us up. We felt totally comfortable immediately. He is such a nice guy. Very knowledgeable about Alaska, Fairbanks, The arctic circle, the pipeline, absolutely everything. We got super lucky and we were the only ones on the tour. It felt like driving with a friend. He knew the roads like the back of his hand. Felt totally safe the entire time. We had a fantastic time. Would recommend this to everyone!

What a great experience! Paul was our driver and made the long trip seem so much shorter with some interesting stops along the way and lots of great information. On our drive we had Phil, the photographer from Borealis Basecamp, along and he added to our adventure! Would highly recommend those who wish to take a trek to the Arctic Circle use Borealis Basecamp!
