I have done hot air ballooning in the past and this experience compared very unfavorably. First of all, it took over an hour to find an appropriate launching location. There were 12 customers squeezed into the basket. It was over loaded to the point that you couldn't move once in the basket. The heat from the propane jet was literally burning my scalp to the point that I had to put my sweater over my head. When we took off, sand fell out of the balloon onto our heads. The entire trip we followed the highway - nothing scenic about it. The other company that took off from the same location went in a completely different direction toward the mountains. The landing was extremely rough due to rocks at the landing site. At one point I was afraid that the basket would tip over. There were 2 bottles of champagne for 12 people and the quality of the food was lacking. The pilot was grumpy but the staff were fine. I would not recommend this company.

There were 2 balloons for about 24 people. Untrained crew took half an hour more to get us up in the air. We didn’t get around too much compared to the other group and not enough daylight was left to cross the highway to follow the first balloon. We came down much earlier than the other balloon and after a bumpy landing it also toppled over on the side and resulted in neck strain. We had to crawl out of the basket and I had to drag out my elderly mom.. I think the website needs to make it clear about these possibilities. Views were good but overall Pretty disappointing experience..!
