Very informative tour of the Amish area in Sarasota. We learnt a lot about the beliefs and traditions of the Amish people in American and why so many stay in Sarasota (especially during the winter months). Highly recommend.

this trip was the highlight of our trip to Sarasota. The guide was a former Amish woman who was now affiliated with another religious group and who represented the Amish and Mennonite communities with an abundance of information and deep respect teaching us the differences between each. I learned a lot about this community of people and we even returned to the Amish neighborhood in town afterwards to see more of their life in our free time. I cannot recommend this trip highly enough. Near the place where you pick up the tour (in the shade i might add) is a wonderful place to eat - The breakfast House - and that made the trip complete. The owner of this company is warm friendly and very interested in your having a good experience. Our trolly driver was also a huge asset as he often had additional information to share with the group.
