Went out to view two pods of transient orcas feeding in the Haro Strait. The captain had intel from other charters and new right where to find them. Excellent looks. Our captain and other charters did a good job of rotating in and out for close looks, while maintaining respectable distance from the orcas and the other charters. Captain warned us of viewing possible carnage, as the transient orcas eat seals/sea lions (the residents only eat fish). All we saw was some blood in the water, but you could tell there was lots of action going on under the surface. Only downside of this trip is that it was a long ride out and it wasn't easy to enjoy the beautiful scenery out on the deck because the boat was going top speed and it was chilly. But that is just the luck of the draw due to the location of the orca pods at that time.
