Cruise Canyon Lake for 90-minutes aboard Dolly Steamboat. This narrated cruise explores a slot canyon. Keep your eyes open for long horn sheep and eagles. Venture east of the Valley, deep into the Sonora Desert, along the Apache Trail. The Southwest and northern Mexico are the only places on earth where this lush desert exists. Visit Tortilla Flat, a former stage coach stop, which boasts a population of 6 people! There will be some browsing time here. Take a short walk into the desert where your guide will point out the desert plants.

My favorite part of the tour was the Steamboat tour. We saw Big Horned Sheep. The rock formations were beautiful. Everyone on the boat was very nice. The restaurant was very good at the marina. The Apache Trail was very interesting. I highly recommend this tour.

It was a beautiful day, a little windy but our friends from Ohio, really enjoyed it. We even saw some mountain goats and was able to seat wherever we wanted. The wait wasn't too bad.

The drive from Phoenix was in a comfortable van [back problems] Since I come from a damp area the dry heat was OK during the AM but not during PM. OK it was JUly-- what else should I expect. The steamboat ride was very good-spectacular scenery and knowledgeable guides. About 1/2 way through the AC died , no problem with other systems and handled well. Thankfully a cool breeze.

This tour is a hidden treasure in the desert and a must see for visitors. It's very unusual for Dolly Steamboat to have AC problems. Thank you for joining us.
