The Barrier Island Shelling Tour is the ultimate shelling adventure for those looking to discover rare and beautiful seashells in untouched, remote locations. This guided boat tour takes you beyond the busy beaches to the best shelling hotspots in the Ten Thousand Islands, where you can collect sand dollars, alphabet cones, lightning whelks, and even the elusive Junonia.

2.5 hour tour departs Goodland Boat Park 8:00 am, 10:45 am, 1:30 pm, 4:15 pm daily

We saw a pod of Dolphins and they swam with us for 10 minutes which was a great treat for my grandchildren.

Great tour of the islands. Saw many Osprey, bald eagles, along with other water fowl AND finding the beautiful shells on the beach. The Captain had great knowledge of the area, wildlife, and history of the area. Highly recommend

There’s so much more to do in the 10,000 Islands than just shelling. Our captains always stop to point out the wild life and share a little local history with our guests. Glad you enjoyed your shelling tour and appreciated the little extras we love to share.

Captain Nate was fantastic. He put us right in the middle of the dolphins. We could see dolphins the entire time. Saw close to 50 dolphins and then did some amazing shelling. We will most likely make it an annual event

The nature and wildlife in the 10,000 Islands can often be completely stunning. Getting to be “part of the pod” during a super pod (when multiple smaller pods come together) is a bucket list moment! I’m sure that it will be an experience everyone aboard will remember for a long time. We look forward to having you on the boat again in the future!! 🐬😎👍
