Aurora Camp is located on a hilltop near Murphy Dome, a top Northern Lights viewing spot near Fairbanks, favored by Aurora photographers. The cabin sits in an area with wide-open views, free from light pollution or any obstructions, offering a full panoramic view of the Northern Lights. Relax in a cozy Alaskan-style cabin with six large windows providing over 180° of stunning views while enjoying hot chocolate in comfort.

* 1,500 sq ft new cabin, built in summer 2023
* Free portrait photography
* Indoor restroom
* Unlimited hot chocolate, coffee, tea, snacks, board games, etc.

Tour Options:
* With transfer (pickup and drop-off): Available from all Fairbanks and North Pole hotels, Airbnbs, etc.
* No transfer: Drive your rental car to the cabin. The roads are well-maintained and in good condition.

Not only did we see the best views of our entire food, there was skewers, karaoke, beverages, and games to pass time. Our host was super kind and knowledgeable. He intentionally asked to pick us up early knowing the best time to see the lights. Would come again if I I had the chance.

This time to attend the Cottage, it is a pity, because the weather is poor cloudy layer is thick, so not to see the light, but to meet the first snow ❄️, the light Cottage equipment really great, if to attend to observe the light here is definitely the best option, and their husband and wife are really enthusiastic, we after the journey because it is self-driving to the camp, leave the middle of the road without a wrong signal trapped in the snow, his husband and wife have returned to their own accommodation and took an hour of car to come to save us to get rid of our car from the snow.
