Laura was great! She was easy-going, fun and serious about safety. She brought wet suits, flippers, masks and snorkels for us. She was very clear with her instructions, extremely watchful and once we got the hang of snorkeling - she told us where we could swim and let us go out on our own, but was always available for help and for helpful fish naming! I will absolutely be back in touch with her for a tour of a different section of the area.

I recently took a trip to Miami Beach and I was able to schedule a scuba diving excursion with Laura Parke, with PrivateScubaLessons.com. This is my second time diving with Laura, the first time she helped me to get certified open water. Laura is the best! her classes are not a mass of people, they are private small group, or in my case, individual instruction. Laura does it the right way, Safety first, properly trained and certified, protect the environment, and ESPECIALLY - HAVING FUN! If I could rate 0 stars I would. Laura was terrible. From the beginning she had a horrible attitude and yelled at my sister because she wasn’t feeling well. She did not make us feel comfortable or take the time to learn our skill level, and when I got upset with her for yelling at my sister, I called her out and she turned around and screamed at me mentioning something about and white male privilege? She definitely has some social justice issues. When I pay hundreds of dollars for an experience, I expect to be treated with respect and at a higher level, which was not the case at all. A complete was of time and money.

It's quite telling when a male competitor feels the need to resort to cheap shots instead of competing on merit. Your attempt to slander speaks volumes—not about us, but about the lengths some will go to undermine a woman succeeding in this industry. We’ll keep raising the bar while you continue to flounder in the shallow end. Perhaps focusing on improving your own operation would serve you better than petty, transparent attacks.
