It was carnage from start to finish, not organised, rude drivers shouting at people that the bus is full. There was hundreds off people queuing and every bus came was full. Total waste off money and time. And when we did eventually get on you are sitting downstairs with no view out of the windows as every seat upstairs is full. Only got part off the tour done as no time left to do second part. Not enough buses for the amount off tickets sold and they kept trying to sell tickets to people or offer an upgrade off 20$ each for a second day! No chance. Very dissatisfied

As a hop on hop off means of transport around NYC it is ok, anything else forget it, I am from the UK (I apologise in advance). But what we do so well there is a guided open top bus tour that is informative, funny and inclusive of all items of interest. The guide on this tour as basically extremely high level and just concentrated on the main attractions, which most of us know about already, it is pre recorded and gets interrupted just as it is about to impacts the knowledge you desperately seek, the answer to this light touch commentary is a fill of crap music that appears to need New York in the lyrics to pass as quality, you can’t hear anything and it’s just a mishmash. So despite consoling myself with its usefulness as a mode of getting around I came to catch the Downtown bus, despite their eagerness to sell you tickets they don’t seem as helpful to help you find here you catch it!!! We ran and ran to try and catch it and after finally finding it’s stop (it’s not where it is meant to be on the brochure) it was full and instead of waiting 49 minutes for the next, we are crammed on the downstairs floor with a poor view writing this review!! The commentary and music fuel my zest as I write this review.

Not a good experience. Male ticket sellers/checkers were so rude. One shouted at me when he thought I’d joined the queue in the middle. He was certainly made aware that this was not the case. Whilst waiting to board for the uptown bus, 2 of the male ticket checkers started to have an argument - very unprofessional. The only two female workers were lovely and very helpful. Maybe the male workers need to learn from them. Whilst on tour, very disappointed that it was a recording and not a tour operator telling you the information. It made the trip very impersonal. There is major room for improvement in the service!!! Big Bus Tours you need to do better.
