On a tour of the USA this was the third big bus tour we had been on. We had enjoyed tours of Los Angeles and Chicago but the organisation of the New York tour completely ruined the day. We booked on line and joined at the Little Italy stop. I showed the driver my e ticket and asked for a paper copy. He just said “later, later” and waved me away. As part of the tour we had also paid for the Circle line boat trip on the Hudson. When I presented my e ticket for the boat trip , they would not accept it and said I must get back on the bus to have one printed. This was at 1100hrs. The next bus that came, the driver said they were unable to print tickets. It could only be done by the staff at the terminus, so we had to get on the bus and complete the rest of the route to the terminus, get a paper ticket printed and get back on a third bus to take us back to the boat trip. We arrived back at 1400hrs to be told that we still couldn’t board as the printed ticket didn’t show we had paid for the boat trip. The next boat was leaving at 1500hrs. We did not have time to go back to the terminus again so after much much arguement I offered to pay the cost of the boat ride. At this point sanity prevailed and the manager gave us two complimentary tickets. Thank you big bus. We didn’t do half the things we wanted to do today. Thanks to your incompetent staff and ridiculous ticketing system you completely ruined one day of what is only a two day trip to New York. I will certainly avoid your company on any future city breaks I take

Hello, First, I would like to apologize for your experience. Our services aim to offer convenience to each traveler and I am sorry you feel this was not the case on your trip. While our drivers cannot redeem vouchers for a physical ticket, we do try to station as many Customer Service Representatives as we can at our listed stops so our passengers can redeem their vouchers for their bus tickets. As for the boat tour, we apologize you did not recieve the correct voucher to redeem at the attraction but are thankful the manager was able to accomodate you. Fantastic tour of the city and a good way to get around. Got on in Times Square and got off near the Stanton island ferry. Has an audio guide included.
