A great way to see some key sights and get your bearings in the city. The Red Line was very good, not to far between stops, lots of options, runs frequently. The commentary cuts out frequently, often cutting off the "fun fact" you're about to learn. All-in-all, recommended though. The blue line however is a different story. Very few stops, huge distances in between them, you will spend a lot of time sitting on a bus, stuck in traffic, to not really see anything. Skip it! Stick to the Red Line!

Myself, my mum, my sister and cousin did the open top bus tour starting at the Bull on Broadway. We spent 20 minutes looking for the bus stop to know where the bus was going to pick us up. We then found an ambassador for the bus company standing at Bryant park who was rude and told us to stand there the bus was on the way. When the bus finally showed up, he stopped at the corner and we along with the bus ambassador had to run up to the bus and across the road. The driver Jimmy was friendly. The bus tour from the Bull on Broadway to the first stop at M&M is pretty boring, you are driving along the river in traffic not seeing a lot. Not many sights to be seen along that part of the route. The commentary was more music than information and when they did speak it was very childish and not that informative. One person giving informative information would have been better than 3 over excited childish commentators. The earphones didn’t work in the seats we were in so had to use the seats behind us.

Prives up, Service down! A very rude welcome from grumpy drivers is the first impression you get. Oh… Sorry, I missed the army of sales guys&girls. They are the first impression you get and it’s not better. There is no guide anymore, but therefore a very poor recording which is not even fully on synced with your travel. Nobody telling you some interesting insights, or to ask for some more details… nothing! You won’t find time for it nevertheless, as you need to follow the map, as nobody is even announcing the stops. Really pur experience, nothing in comparison to 2018,2019.
