Enjoyed guided information. Enjoyed the view and open air. Received mobile ticket immediately but a BB employee was rude at the first stop when he said I couldn't use it because I needed paper ticket. Someone else helped me.

Upfront: my wife and I have done Big Bus tours in several other cities and had good experiences, so when it came time to choose a tour experience for our New York City vacation we quickly booked with Big Bus - BIG MISTAKE! - in other cities they have actual guides on the busses...not in NYC. It is a corny recorded commentary and on most of the busses we were on the headphone jacks did not deliver clear audio so you couldn'thear it anyway...a waste! - the busses are supposed to be at each stop every 10-15 minutes, but we had difficulty finding busses. One stop said the bus would not be there for 30-45 minutes! We met people who regularly told us they had been waiting for 30 minutes for a bus. - most of the busses did not have working A/C on the bottom decks, which made it difficult as most of thr busses did not have open seats on the top deck. Many of the stops we were at we watched as 2-3 Top View busses passed us. For the price they charged we DID not get value for our money. It was a bad, high priced taxi service that was late.

Hello, We are very sorry to hear about your experience. We do apologize if you experienced longer wait times the day of your visit. Due to the holiday week, we did have an increase in traffic which did cause some delay in boarding and also caused our tour to take longer than usual. We hope you and your wife still had enough time to see the great sights of New York City and this did not cause too much of an inconvenience during your trip.

Highly recommend this ad a way to see New York City. My brother was with us and he is not real mobile so walking is a challenge. This allowed us all to see the places we wanted to see in a short amount of time. We could hop on and off as we desired and it worked great. We bought the two day pass which I would recommend. The only complaint I had about the bus ride was that the speaker system did not work most of the time, hard to understand with the ear phones. Also on weekends you need to catch first bus at beginning because they are too full and you cannot get on. Then you have to keep waiting and waiting.
