During this approx 2 -hour snorkeling tour with a knowledgeable guide, watch these extraordinary creatures feed on plentiful plankton attracted by underwater lights. With wingspans that can reach more than 20 feet (6 meters) across, manta rays have no teeth or barb on the tail. This was absolutely amazing. We were able to see dozens of Manta Rays. They were so large and majestic. I was able to see them in the distance as well as extremely close up...within an inch of me. There were other grey fish we got to see as well very close up. They weren't beautiful or special, but I enjoyed them as well. What most people don't talk about is the plankton. I would advise you take a close look at them when the Manta Rays are not around. I was thrilled to see them as well. Very small creatures of varying sizes. There were multiple different kinds. They were all various shades of white in the light. It appeared they were just floating around in the ocean. However with careful inspection you could tell they swam around, twisted, spun making spiral movements. If you reached out to try to touch the plankton, they scattered, which I found interesting that such small creatures could sense "danger" and try to escape.

Loved it and would go again. These are 8-10 foot 900 lb sea creatures feeding on plankton right under your nose!

This experience exceeded our expectations. The crew was exceptional in every aspect, knowledgeable about the mantas and highly safety conscious for all who entered the water in the dark. Seeing the manta swim right under you is amazing. If you have not done this yet, book it today! Thank you to the entire crew for making this a highlight of our trip.
