Welcome to the Southern most area of the United States! Our tour will take you to places that tourists and locals alike have never visited. This is the REAL untouched Hawaii. The Southpoint area is where the Hawaiians originally landed on the Big Island. Its beautiful, warm, sunny and sometimes windy. You'll be crossing rugged lava flows and grassy fields,
Ancient Kiawe forests with all the natural fauna and flora of The Big Island. Gorgeous aqua coastline with crashing waves worthy of photos, especially when the surfs up! If on a winter tour you might even see a whale or two. You will experience colorful tropical fish and green sea turtles visible from rugged lava cliffs as you peer into Shark Bay. We also do private family tours so book ahead so we have spaces available for you and your family. Get a little SUN and have a little FUN! Lets GO!

This was an awesome ride. So glad we chose Vikki and her husband. She is the owner and Big Island Southside ATV Tours is phenomenal tour. The start is a spot about 10 miles West of Black Sands Beach and about a hour twenty from Kona. Nice drive to get to them past some cool towns and places to get coffee and views. The ATV ride itself is GREAT, down dirt trails, over rocky coastline and through a bit of coastal forest. True off-roading. We stopped briefly at a lava tube and learned some interesting facts about them and other natural structures along the way. The best part by far were the trails, views and beaches we stopped at. I hope the pics we posted due it justice. If you want a real ATV off-road tour to some of the most beautiful and quiet beaches, then you can do no better than this. You will get dirty and you will probably be tired after the 3 hour round trip, but it is so worth it. No souvenir shops with high prices, just an awesome ride with a cool guide. Bring water for sure and a small snack if you want as the ATV's have small carry spaces. A change of clothes for after as you will be covered in dirt, and I imagine some mud if there has been a recent rain. Can't say enough except go. Great value compared to descriptions of other tours. Any time we come to the big island, we will go on this tour.

Wes and Vickie were great hosts! The ATV were all newer and in great condition. They’re automatic transmission, so very easy to ride. My wife and I aren’t the smallest people in the world, but the ATV was able to accommodate both of us easily. The ride down to ocean was very enjoyable and the views were amazing. We were able to see parts of the island that we would have never been able to see without taking this tour. Tips: wear sleeves and bring a change of clothes and a towel! You will get dusty and dirty. Wes and Vickie do provide you towels and use of a hose to clean up afterward. Use the restroom before you arrive, there are no facilities available. Use the goggles and dust masks they provide you! They provide them for a reason.

Fantastic tour with unbelievable views! From the green sand beaches to see sea turtles surfing in the waves this is a tour you will not want to miss.
