My friends and I had an absolutely amazing time with BK Adventure the other night! The tour was incredible, and it was truly a night that we will never forget. Our guide Matt was incredibly knowledgable and did an amazing job leading the tour. We couldn't have asked for a better guide, or a better night! Would 100% recommend this experience for anyone who has the chance to go.

My wife and I took a bio-luminescence tour earlier this week and had an absolutely fantastic time. I've never actually seen bio-luminescent organisms (despite having a degree in oceanography) and I am delighted to have finally filled that square. Our timing seems to have been perfect as we had a moonless night which made it easy to see all of the ctenophores and dinoflagellates glowing like hundreds of electric sparks. Amazing! Our guide, Angela, was very patient to walk us through all of the safety procedures for working the kayaks and guided us carefully through the Haulover canal so that we could see all that there is to be seen (even at night). She went far above the call of duty when she helped me out in adjusting to the kayak, even to the point of towing us so that I could catch my breath after I exhausted myself by paddling a little too hard. She was a real life-saver! I would strongly encourage novice kayakers to take an afternoon or sunset tour before trying the bio-luminescence tour. It's too dark to adjust yourself to get comfortable in the boat or to see how fast you're moving. I'd also recommend that you heed their guidance and wear waterproof clothing and sandals or flip-flops that you can take off in the boat. It would also be a good idea to bring a bottle of water or two for each passenger. I heartily recommend BK Adventures for anyone considering taking a kayaking tour here in central Florida. I can't imagine anyone doing a better job than they. We look forward to taking more tours with BK Adventures.

My daughter and I enjoyed a bioluminescent tour in a clear kayak last night. Our tour guides, Alyssa and Jared, made the experience an unforgettable one. They worked hard to find the best spot for seeing the comb jellies and plankton. It was honestly magical. It was an experience I’ll never forget and one I hope to repeat many times. The plankton lit up like shooting stars when you looked through the kayak and the comb jellies glowed blue with every touch of the hand or paddle. The hour and half tour felt like only 5 minutes because I was so engulfed in the experience. Both Alyssa and Jared were wildly knowledgeable and answered all my questions with detailed answers. They showed a true respect and awe for the magic that happens in nature. They made sure everyone on our trip was included. They were also so well trained in keeping everyone safe, Alyssa was always leading our little pack and Jared made sure stay in the back with the last yak (which was usually us, because we were lost in the beauty we would look up and realize we had fallen a bit behind!)
