Loved the driver/guide Mike--humorous and knowledgeable, very entertaining. Trolley was comfortable and the roll down curtains were good as it was raining hard at times. Covered a lot of the key sites---Beacon Hill, State House, Boston Commons, The Gardens, North End...intersecting with Freedom Trail at a number of points. Good visibility but not great for photos as trolley rushed by a lot of the major spots!! Gotta be ready and fast if you want that memorable picture! Good way to get oriented and then decide on where you want to go back to. Our driver let us stay on so we could get back to the North End (Little Italy) for a great Italian lunch and see Old North Church and Paul Revere's monument to his memorable ride!
The price for us was $31 each and another $8 if you wanted the "free" 3/4 hour harbor cruise. Think I would go with the Old Town Trolley Tour next time as they had more coverage to their route and more stops (Harvard, MIT campuses, Fenway Park, crosses the Charles River...
Great way to see Boston especially in inclement weather.
