I would not say this tour was awful, just not as fun as we expected. We did the Boynton Canyon Tour, and it does give a broad overlook of the area. With my voucher, I think we paid roughly $15/pp. I am glad that was all. It was chilly, so the last 2/3rds of the trolly had cloudy plastic flaps covering the windows to look out. I saw that during boarding so I avoided those seats. (I am guessing these are gone during normal busy tourist season as it probably warms up) The two person seat/bench was very small...barely large enough for two adults. Where we ending sitting towards the front, it was still difficult to see what was pointed out as we were on the LEFT, and a lot of the rock formations seemed to always be on the RIGHT side of the trolly. We stopped twice: once at a park/overlook and then again by Boynton Canyon on the side of the road, looking at the Big Thunder Mountains. Oddly, the driver seemed upset/irritated during the tour. Was it part of an act? Perhaps that he had to give a random lady a lift to the car rental place in town? Not sure...The gal who gave the information was really nice but seemed as if she was trying to talk slow & keep things very very simple. We did get one good trail recommendation from her that we did do and were thankful for: the Boynton Canyon Vista overlook. Overall, I'm glad we did the trolley.
