On our Secret Food Tour: Chicago, you'll enjoy a variety of foods with culinary influences from the people who built this city.

You'll experience all the city's biggest food hits, many dishes with roots dating back over 150 years. This moving feast incorporates a walk through some of the city's world renowned architecture and public art in the famed Chicago Loop District. Experience our famous deep dish pizza, taste the amazing Italian beef sandwich, enjoy gourmet popcorn, and lots of other treats. Plus, there is our mouth-watering secret dish that you can only find out about on the day of the tour!

As a private tour, everything works around you! Our start times are much more easy going, dates can open up. It's a much more intimate and cozy experience. No need to shout over other tourists, you will have every question answered, and leave feeling like a native yourself!

Chicago Public Library - Hall Branch

It was named for the city’s first African American Mayor, who served from 1983-87 and opened in 1991. Chicago’s known for having some of the finest architecture in the world.

Financial District

centered on LaSalle Street in the Loop, is the fulcrum of the heartland’s economic engines. Looming skyscrapers form a canyon-like effect down LaSalle, which ends abruptly with the Art Deco masterpiece of the Board of Trade on Jackson. Floridly-dressed commodity traders at the Board of Trade, regulators at the Chicago Fed, and bankers of all pinstripes know this power corridor very well.

Calder’s Flamingo

53-foot tall stabile located in the Federal Plaza in front of the Kluczynski Federal Building. It was commissioned by the United States General Services Administration and was unveiled in 1974, although Calder's signature on the sculpture indicates it was constructed in 1973.

The Rookery Building

My wife and took the Secret Food Tour while in Chicago for the Memorial Day weekend and had a fantastic time. Our tour guide, Susan, could not have been better. Susan was so very fun and knowledgeable about not only some great "secret" places to eat in Chicago and avoid the typical tourist traps, but she also had a fabulous knowledge of some of the great architecture and history of the city. My wife and I were stunned at the end of the tour when Susan fessed up that we were her very first tour. We could not believe it - she was fantastic and we would have thought that she'd been doing this for years. Can't recommend her, or the Secret Food Tour, enough. Spoiler Alert! We started the tour at Gino's East - perhaps not a "secret" eatery, but the best deep dish pizza in Chicago!

Wife and I did this tour with our wonderful guide Susan, she was very knowledgeable about the food, the city and the architecture (which she obviously has a passion about. After the tour we called back into a couple of the spots we ate and purchased some to take home, that night we went back to Ginos and had deep dish for dinner. Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone interested in getting a taste of traditional Chicago fare.

We had the best experience with our guide Clinton on the Secret Food Tour. He was incredibly knowledgeable, fun and introduced us to our new found food favorites of Chicago. We couldn’t choose our favorite because it was all amazing. We have a new appreciation and love for the beautiful Windy City Thank you, Clinton!
