  • Please NOTE ALL 8 a.m. tours depart from your dock. Please arrive 15 minutes ahead of departure time. Don't forget your Passports! 1130 and 230 pm City Summit - departs from Yukon Heath's Popcorn Emporium, located at 485 Broadway Avenue, Skagway, AK 99840 (see map below). Please plan to arrive at our office 30 minutes early. If you have any questions, please contact us.
  • A current valid passport is required on the day of travel
  • US and Canadian Citizens: Must bring a government-issued photo ID and proof of citizenship (US birth certificate or naturalization certificate) or a passport for re-entry to the United States. Children, ages 18 and under only require a birth certificate
  • Non-US Citizens: Either a Passport, I-94, Multiple Entry Visa or Resident Alien Card is required for re-entry to the United States
  • Operates in all weather conditions. Weather can vary greatly from one location to another, please dress in layers
  • Specific tour stops can be modified based on road conditions and weather.

We thoroughly enjoyed the ride up to the Yukon. Finding our bus that morning was easy after disembarking our cruise ship. Our guide was pretty good at narrating along the way. The guide wasn't really engaging nor humorous so our kids were a little bored. (Until we had to explain what the ladies of the gold rush did...) We learned a lot of history about the gold rush era. We also saw a glacier beyond some mountains. It was cool to ride through clouds and not fog. We stopped several times for pictures along the way which made it easier on our kids to get out and run around a bit. This excursion was much nicer to us than the long train ride would have been.

The weather was very foggy so views were limited but staff was great and very friendly. Very quaint town a d lots of interesting history

The tour was decent..it just wasn't exciting. If I had to do all over again I would make sure I took the railway instead of a bus tour.
