Hundreds of manatees make Crystal River their home during the colder months on our Manatee Tour (November 14 - March 31), and some stick around all year to enjoy the refreshing water from Hunter Springs. Our 2 different tour options each give a unique perspective on this incredibly popular location. Come paddle with us!

Crystal River

This tour is ALL about finding the best manatee spots and utilizing our clear kayaks to give you the best viewing possible without getting wet! Crystal River is known as the “Manatee Capital of the World.” On this tour, we want our guests to experience Manatees in their natural habitat. Crystal River is fed by dozens of natural springs, which makes it is a hotspot during Florida’s “colder” months. Between November and March, hundreds of manatees migrate inland to the springs to seek refuge and stay warm. We can’t control where they might be in the area, but our experienced guides will take you to where they are most active! While manatees are our main focus of this tour, we often see dolphins, fish, turtles, birds, and more! This 2-2.5 hour guided adventure includes a relaxed paddle through Kings Bay to Hunter Springs, Jurassic Springs, and beyond in Crystal River. Check this paddle off your manatee bucket list! Beautiful river. Water was beautiful and there were dozens of manatee to be seen thanks to our guide . Lacey was great at helping us identify how to spot them and letting us watch them as we found them, guide was great (Lacey-Started late waiting on other people that had signed up to arrive -Always a bit annoying especially if you arrived 30 min. early as recommended . Place to meet was a bit difficult to find as sign was small identifying the tour outfit although same size as rest of them to be fair . Again great experience would do it again .
