Established in 1999, Encounters With Dolphins has been safely providing guests the opportunity to view dolphins, learn about Clearwater and enjoy the sand and sun on Compass Island and maybe even take a dip on the island! We are a small business founded on the principal of wanting our guests to have the same experiences we would want to have on our own vacation. We’re also proud of the fact that almost all of our staff are either marine biologist, conservationist or experts in marine wildlife. All of us work tirelessly to ensure that all of our customers have an enjoyable and relaxing time with us!

На двадцять-тридцять хвилин під час вашої подорожі човен зупиниться на острові Компас, де ви матимете можливість полювати на мушлі серед тисяч мушель, плавати, займатися підводним плаванням (спорядження надається) і насолоджуватися островом.

Our tour guides were hilarious and super nice! It was a really great experience and we saw a ton of dolphins 🙂 10/10 recommend

The dolphin encounter was nice but I would’ve rather spent more time at the Dolphins than that stupid island picking seashells Total waste of time on the island we wanted to see dolphins didn’t like the part about parking in the marina those machines weren’t working half the time I got a $20 ticket for being overtime because I didn’t do something right we have spent over thousands of dollars in Florida and was enjoying the time but yesterday just about ended it seems like it’s a scam to me that parking

Thank you for coming out with us and thank you for your comments! We value all of our customer's feedback so that we can improve the experience for everyone. We try our best to ensure everyone that comes on our tour has a 5 star experience and I'm sorry that we did not achieve that. People come on our tours for a variety of different reasons. Some, like you, come for the dolphins, some come for the tour and some come for the island. Since everyone comes for different reasons, it's almost impossible to completely please everyone in a group setting. Thank you so much for mentioning the parking! We don't like it either!! We rent our dock space from the City of Clearwater and the parking is completely controlled by the city. I'm very sorry that you got a ticket. We know the machines can be a pain to use and we spend a lot of our day working with our customers and a lot of other business' customers to ensure nobody gets a ticket. When our guests check in, we explain the steps to navigate the parking kiosks and, when needed, we'll go and assist in person. Since these machines were installed years ago, all of the business owners in the marina have been petitioning the city to have them removed and re-emplement the system they had in place prior to their installation. Unfortunately, the City of Clearwater has not listened to our concerns.

We had an awesome time. The crew was knowledgable about the dolphins and the Clearwater area. We saw multiple groups of dolphins!
