Wetsuits are available in all sizes from toddlers (2 years old and up) to adults up to 5X
It is advised that you have your swimsuit on underneath your clothes for a quicker check-in
Please bring a towel and warm clothes to change into after your tour.

Just returned from a River Venture tour - had so much fun! JJ and Irish Dave were amazing hosts and shared such in depth knowledge of manatees and the area. April isn’t the high season for the manatees in the bay but we saw plenty!

Our experience: Amazing! Tour guide JJ and Captain Liz were fantastic. We would certainly go again with River ventures. We went with our four-year-old and five-year-old. JJ was great with our kiddos. Our five-year-old was able to get in the water and see a manatee with the help of tour guide JJ. Our four year old was a bit unsure and did not go in the water. Captain Liz made sure he was able to still have a great experience from the boat (made sure he saw several fish and a few manatees). My husband and I both had up close experiences with a manatee, even out of season. Tip: if it’s a little chilly bring your towel and shirt/jacket on the boat so you can pull your wet suit down and be warmer on the way back. I would highly recommend River ventures. Hope we can return soon.
