This tour is totally customizable – you choose the length of the tour, what time you want to be picked up, and what you want to see.

I love San Francisco and have spent 20 years studying and exploring the city. I’ll work with you to plan your tour so you can see the famous sites and the hidden gems other tours can't go to or don't know about. I’ve designed this to be the type of tour I would take if I visited San Francisco, but where you go is up to you. I make suggestions along the way, but how long you spend at any site is up to you. You're never rushed, and never have to wait for other people. It's all about you!

Plus, it's fun! In the convertible MINI Cooper, you see everything up close and personal as we drive along.

I love showing guests San Francisco, and talking about the history and culture of this unique and special city.

Call it Postcard Row, the Painted Ladies, or the Full House houses, everyone loves seeing this site in person. And if you want to get out and take a picture, you can. As with all locations, if you want to get out is up to you.

Presidio of San Francisco

Drive through this former Army base turned national park. Stop and see the Yoda statue if you want.

North Beach

Learn the history and culture of this neighborhood that is a favorite of locals and visitors alike.

Lombard Street

If the time is right and there isn't too much traffic (usually weekend and holiday afternoons) we drive down the famous crooked st. If we can't drive down, we can at least drive by, and get out for photos if you want to.

Chinatown

Drive through this neighborhood, and learn about its history and culture. As I talk about the architecture, you can look up an see it as we drive through in the convertible MINI Cooper.

Haight-Ashbury

Drive down the street made famous in the 1960's, and learn why the music and culture made resonated around the world.

Golden Gate Park

Drive through the park, see the museums and the Japanese Tea garden. Guests enjoy driving through and learning the history of this urban garden created on top of 1,017 acres of sand. If open, there is an opportunity to go into the observation tower of the DeYoung museum.

Twin Peaks

Experience a spectacular view of the entire city, the Bay, and if the weather is clear, bridges as far south as Silicon Valley and up near the wine country.

16 Avenue Tiled Steps

The 16th Ave Tiled steps are only part of what you can see. I can show you a lesser known but equally as impressive tiled staircase, and what these staircases looked like before they were transformed into this urban art piece.

This tour was great. We (me and my husband) took a tour for 3 hours it was fantastic. Reed picket us up at our hotel and drove us all around SF. Reed was knowledgeable about SF and told us many interesting things. If we wanted to stop to look around that was OK by him. He dropped us of at a restaurant he recommended and it was great. I highly recommend Reed and his mini cooper.

My husband and I visited San Francisco for our 30th Anniversary. We booked a 3-hour tour with Reed on our first full day there. He personalized the tour to our preferences, we love history and photography and with his vast knowledge of the city he was able to bring us to all of the places we wanted to see, as well as share the history of the city with us. The mini cooper was very comfortable and was able to go places the big buses cannot. We saw all of the highlights of the city and we drove down Lombard Street and visited little gems hidden in neighborhoods that he is familiar with. He will stop anywhere you want to get out and wait for you while you look around and take pictures, whatever, the trip is customized to your needs. He also shared information with us about the city before we got there regarding restaurants and other sites and tours in the city. If you book this tour you will not be disappointed!!

We had only one day to explore after a cruise from Vancouver. The tour was very informative and was a super way to see all the highlights of San Francisco. At the end of our tour we were dropped off at a great place for pizza. Seeing San Fran in the back of a Mini Cooper was very cool and fun Take this tour!
