Індивідуальний приватний тур на кабріолеті MINI Cooper

Огляд
You're in a special city. Why take an ordinary tour? This is the ONLY convertible MINI Cooper tour in the country!

This tour is totally customizable – you choose the length of the tour, what time you want to be picked up, and what you want to see.

I love San Francisco and have spent 20 years studying and exploring the city. I’ll work with you to plan your tour so you can see the famous sites and the hidden gems other tours can't go to or don't know about. I’ve designed this to be the type of tour I would take if I visited San Francisco, but where you go is up to you. I make suggestions along the way, but how long you spend at any site is up to you. You're never rushed, and never have to wait for other people. It's all about you!

Plus, it's fun! In the convertible MINI Cooper, you see everything up close and personal as we drive along.

I love showing guests San Francisco, and talking about the history and culture of this unique and special city.

Чого очікувати
1
MINI Cooper.
7
12
Coit Tower
See the murals and views the bay and Golden Gate Bridge. How much time you spend is up to you.
13
Painted Ladies
Call it Postcard Row, the Painted Ladies, or the Full House houses, everyone loves seeing this site in person. And if you want to get out and take a picture, you can. As with all locations, if you want to get out is up to you.

15
North Beach
Learn the history and culture of this neighborhood that is a favorite of locals and visitors alike.

Lombard Street
If the time is right and there isn't too much traffic (usually weekend and holiday afternoons) we drive down the famous crooked st. If we can't drive down, we can at least drive by, and get out for photos if you want to.

Chinatown
Drive through this neighborhood, and learn about its history and culture. As I talk about the architecture, you can look up an see it as we drive through in the convertible MINI Cooper.

Haight-Ashbury
Drive down the street made famous in the 1960's, and learn why the music and culture made resonated around the world.
19
Golden Gate Park
Drive through the park, see the museums and the Japanese Tea garden. Guests enjoy driving through and learning the history of this urban garden created on top of 1,017 acres of sand. If open, there is an opportunity to go into the observation tower of the DeYoung museum.
20
Twin Peaks
Experience a spectacular view of the entire city, the Bay, and if the weather is clear, bridges as far south as Silicon Valley and up near the wine country.
21
16 Avenue Tiled Steps
The 16th Ave Tiled steps are only part of what you can see. I can show you a lesser known but equally as impressive tiled staircase, and what these staircases looked like before they were transformed into this urban art piece.

Small Car Big Time Tours is amazing! We had booked a 2 hour tour and it was informative, fun and memorable. This private tour was well worth every penny. If you can afford more than 2 hour tour, go for it! you will NOT regret it. I enjoyed being in the convertible because you have a fantastic view of your surroundings. if you're cold then Reed supplies blankets to keep you warm (nice touch). He showed us the highlights of SF and then dropped us off wherever we liked which was Little Italy. I would not hesitate to contact Reed if you're looking for a fun personal informative tour in SF. Thank you Reed for making our stay in SF that more special.

My husband and I celebrated our 35th wedding anniversary with a week-long trip to San Francisco (from our home at the north end of Lake Tahoe). I had grown up in Palo Alto, and thought I knew a lot about San Francisco. Reed took us on a fantastic 3-hour tour of San Francisco in an adorable convertible Mini Cooper. He knows “The City” inside out, and he clearly loves to share his love of San Francisco with you. The Mini Cooper can get into every small nook and cranny - and it did. And I learned things I never knew - that the United Nations started in San Francisco in 1945 at the Fairmont Hotel (we saw the flags of the 46 nations invited to the inaugural meeting), or why there are no Victorian houses to the East of Van Ness, or the relationship between the Captain John C. Fremont who discovered Lake Tahoe and the controversial John C. Fremont of San Francisco, or the story of Lillie Hitchcock Coit, patron of the volunteer firefighters, who provided the funds both for Coit Tower and for a beautiful statue commemorating the firefighters in Washington Square, or how Charles Crocker spitefully built a wall around the house of a homeowner who would not sell his land to Crocker. We learned how the Palace of Fine Arts had originally been built of wood, burlap and plaster for the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition - with a life expectancy of a year - it became such a beloved structure it was finally rebuilt with steel I-beams and concrete. Reed made history come alive. And he was incredibly flexible in making sure we saw what mattered to us. I cannot believe how much we saw, and how much we learned, in a delightful three hours with Reed.

My husband and I spent the weekend in San Francisco on our way to Hawaii and only had one full day. I thought it would be a great way for my husband to see the city in a short amount of time since he had never been there. I have been to San Fran numerous times so did not think it would be anything new for me - I was sure wrong! Reed's tour is so informative - he knows so much about the city. It is interesting, funny, etc. I told friends of mine that live there about it and they didn't even know half of what I told them! We are not "tour people" and Scott was really not that excited about it but honestly - he has talked more about the awesome 3 hours in the mini than 8 days in Maui! And the mini convertible is the perfect way to see the city - my photos are great!!!! (And the ones Reed took of us are fantastic - make sure and get him to take your picture at the secret Golden Gate Bridge spot!). What I loved the most was we got to go where we wanted to go and stay for 2 minutes or 20 minutes - never rushed or bored. I had read about Tony's Pizza and asked Reed if we could stop and grab a slice so he actually found a parking place so we all had a Pizza break (which I also highly recommend). I have been back for a week and have told 2 of my friends that are heading out there in the near future that this is must-do! (And if you are staying for awhile - it would be a great thing to do first and figure out want places you want to go back to and explore on your own - and he gives you a list of his favorite restaurants, etc). If I had more time, I would have gone on another tour with Reed to Muir Woods (or added a few hours on) but you can see the SF city in 3-4 hours easily. When I first read about the tour, I thought it was $75 per person per hour (which would have been worth every penny!) but it is a flat hourly rate for up to 3 people - a steal!
