17 miles, split into two unique biking experiences. Maui Bombers offers the premier biking experience on Maui. Voted #1 bike tour company for 2019-2024. The tour begins at 8 am. and lasts 4.5 hours. We offer the smallest group size, best equipment, longest bike ride and are the only bike tour company that uses biking helmets. All the other companies use full face motorcycle helmets. Added bonus, our start time guarantees the least amount of traffic to deal with and no other bike companies to deal with on the road!

Best activity in the island! So cool riding from the clouds to the ocean. Highly recommend! Has to be the best bike trip in Maui

This IS the best bike tour offered on Maui! Starts with a friendly pickup (we were in Kihei) followed by a drive up the mountain with a nice stop midway to use restroom and check out a shop that specializes in all products made on Maui. Once you are at the starting point, Matt gave us some pointers and instruction on what to expect. With a max group of 6, we had a great time riding down the mountain, stopping on occasion to snap some pics and take it all in. The lunch stop in Makawao was outstanding! Great food and break to check out this cool town. Then the last part of the ride down to Paia. One of the best times to be had with my buddy visiting from mainland. Thanks Matt and Eric! Will definitely recommend you guys to everyone I know

If you’re thinking about doing a bike tour down Haleakalā, this is hands down the best choice. I did a variation of the Cycle to the Windmills tour and absolutely loved it. If you enjoy biking and want to do more than coast and ride your brakes down to the sea (something that you’ll get with all the other tour companies), then I would highly recommend this route. Of course, for those who think that coasting sounds great, the Cycle to the Sea tour is a great option, only you get to do it on quality Trek bikes and normal bike helmets instead of the full helmets used by all the other companies. The Maui bombers specialize in tours with small groups of six or less, so everyone gets the attention and support they require. I was on a tour with only two people and it was fantastic! Matt and Eric were awesome and kept us safe by letting us know when to slow down in advance of a hairpin turn and when we can just go as fast as we want. There are some hill climbs at altitude on this route but very doable. Plus, there’s the reward of a great burger at the end! Matt- the next time I’m back I’ll be booking a tour. I’ll be interested in seeing what new routes you come up with!
