We took the Denali Highway Jeep excursion in August 2019, The weather was perfect and the mountain was out! Several of the people in our excursion had come to Denali Park in the past and never been able to see Mt. McKinley due to foggy conditions. But it showed out on the day we were there! The jeeps are all different colors and have Sesame Street character names. Ours was Cookie Monster blue. Everyone is connected via radio and the leader of the tour narrates as you travel through the park. It was quite fun but we had hoped that we would get off the beaten path, however, we stuck to the pavement. Saw several moose and made some good friends in the 4 hours this tour took. Note: if there are two of you, be prepared to ride in a jeep with two others you don't know. But it was ok and we had lots of fun doing this.

My parents, my husband and I took the Jeep tour into Denali national park booked through princess cruises. We all thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Even though it was chilly outside in the early morning the jeeps were warm and the scenery was beautiful. We were glad to not be on a super crowded tour. Our guide Kalyn was very informative and knowledgeable about the wildlife. She gave us lots of stops for pictures. I would definitely recommend this tour! Thank you so much!

you play follow the leader going 20-40 miles per hour with very little commentary and the road is not all that ruggered to require a Jeep 4x4. Was never taken off the beaten path using your Jeep's 4x4 power
